The S-1900 R2 appliance platform offers a 1U server appliance solution that targets the high-performance spectrum of the small/medium business and enterprise markets. This appliance solution couples dual multi-core processor performance with redundant power in a multi-drive chassis to offer an ideal solution for high-performance storage, security and networking applications. The systems provide versatility to support enterprise-quality drives and offer expansion capabilities to support a variety of PCIe expansion cards to satisfy additional network I/O, telephony integration, attached storage or other expansion requirements.

The S-3000 R2 provides a scalable 3U rack mount solution with expansion options including single or dual Intel 5500 series Xeon processors, up to 96 GB of memory, up to 16 drives (32 TB max storage) and up to six full-height full-length PCIe slots. Integrated hardware RAID, redundant AC or DC power and hot swap enterprise class hard drives ensure maximum reliability and delivers the uptime required for business critical applications. The S-3000 R2 is tailored for applications that demand high performance, storage and reliability. NEI’s utilization of embedded solutions coupled with Element Manager allows ISVs to accelerate the development and deployment of their application.
